Dorothy and Peter D. Brown Memory Care Pavilion at Fleischman Residence
Provided by: Jewish Home and Aging Services The Brown Memory Care Pavilion provides a safe, secure and supportive environment specifically designed and staffed to accommodate the distinctive needs of older adults with memory impairments. This residential unit, located on the third floor of the Fleischman Residence/ Blumberg Plaza, provides residents with around-the-clock nursing, recreational, and social supports. Programs are created to enhance functioning and enrich life through professionally planned activities. A full complement of programs and activities are offered to encourage resident socialization, stimulation, autonomy and self-expression.

Marvin and Betty Danto Family Health Care Center (West Bloomfield on the Eugene and Marcia Applebaum Jewish Community Campus)

Privately owned state licensed nursing facility for persons who require 24-hour skilled nursing supervision. Provides kosher food and Jewish cultural and religious support and activities.
Fleischman Residence/ Blumberg Plaza (West Bloomfield)
Provided by: Jewish Home and Aging Services A licensed home for the aged, Fleischman Residence provides a secure home environment for frail Jewish older adults. Three kosher meals are provided daily in addition to health services, personal care assistance, recreational activities, fitness, cultural and religious supports and programming to enrich the residents’ quality of life.
Home Share Program
Provided by: Jewish Family Service This is an intergenerational program in which Jewish Family Service matches a home provider seeking to share his/her home for support, social and/or economic reasons with a home seeker who is looking for an affordable place to live. A contractual arrangement is made between the two parties.
Housing Relocation
Provided by: Jewish Family Service Social workers provide assistance with finding appropriate housing for older adults in need of alternative living arrangements
Margot and Warren Coville Apartments
Provided by: Jewish Apartments and Services The Coville Apartments Program, located within Prentis Jewish Apartments on the A. Alfred Taubman Jewish Community Campus in Oak Park, offers a congregate living experience that allows older adults to remain in an independent setting while also providing supervision and personalized care.
Supportive Housing for Older Adults
Provided by: Jewish Apartments and Services Buildings are located in West Bloomfield and Oak Park accommodate older adults who are able to function independently and maintain their own living quarters. One required kosher meal a day is provided five days a week. Additional services (e.g. housekeeping, transportation, weekend meals and case management) are available as well.
