Chaplaincy Program
Provided by: Jewish Home and Aging Services The Jewish Community Chaplaincy Program provides and coordinates religious and cultural programming, support, pastoral care, spiritual guidance and advocacy for Jewish residents in secular skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
Guardianship Services
Provided by: Jewish Home and Aging Services Guardianship services are provided for frail older adults who are in need of a legal guardian. As a court-appointed legal guardian of the person and/or property, Jewish Home and Aging Services ensures that all supports and services are in place to enhance the client’s quality of life.
Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy Network
Provided by: Jewish Home and Aging Services This program, working in cooperation with Federation, provides pastoral care, spiritual guidance, advocacy and emergency rabbinical intervention to patients and families facing terminal illness, infirmity or personal crisis.
Project Outreach
Provided by: JVS Advocacy services, case management, friendly visitors, monthly cultural activities and opportunities for religious observance are provided to elderly Jewish residents of Wayne County who are indigent, isolated and/or disabled and live in nursing or group homes or private apartments.
