Committees
- Events - This committee discusses, recommends, and secures speakers and events for the group. They are responsible for assuring that effective events are organized and work with the Federation to secure attendance. They will additionally research, recommend and promote philanthropic opportunities. It is their task to find valuable programs and assure Jewish Business Leaders participation at those events.
- Membership and Resource Groups – This committee works to grow the organization through various means and helps to organize the small resource groups assuring compatibility and unity within the groups. This committee also helps each resource group establish goals and help develop plans to achieve these goals. It additionally evaluates each Resource Discussion Group and organizations (whether within or without the Jewish community) whose goals and objectives are similar to those of Jewish Business Leaders, to establish a set of “Best Practices.” The committee will then implement these Best Practices into Jewish Business Leaders and the Resource Discussion Groups.
- Strategic Alliances / PR and Marketing - This committee seeks out and evaluates local, regional, and statewide organizations (“Alliance Partners”) whose goals and objectives are similar to those of Jewish Business Leaders. In coordination with the Events and Forums Committee, it establishes and implements programs, events and forums of common interest to Jewish Business Leaders and our Alliance Partners. It also establishes the public relations and marketing goals and objectives for Jewish Business Leaders. In conjunction with The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, corporate partners, and the Membership and Resource Groups Committee, it develops strategies to develop the brand name Jewish Business Leaders, and to target individuals for membership.
